Doctor Who to run for at ‘least another 5 years’
It looks like we’re not only definitely getting a series 10 of Doctor Who, but it could continue for a lot longer.
Showrunner Steven Moffat has confirmed that the BBC sci-fi show has at least another five years in it.
In an interview with Variety, he said: “It is definitely going to last five more years, I’ve seen the business plan. It’s not going anywhere.
“And I think we can go past that. It’s television’s own legend. It will just keep going.”
Doctor Who is getting a Young Adult spinoff called Class from A Monster Calls writer Patrick Ness
He also noted that while Jenna Coleman will be stepping out of the TARDIS for good during the current series, the Doctor himself is staying exactly where he is.
” Peter Capaldi is going nowhere,” he confirmed.
